Fish&Chips

Client: TelevisiĆ³ de Catalunya Year: 2010

Branding and image design. Fish & Chips is a game show designed for children between 8 and 12 years of age that aims to stimulate the use of English as a communication language. This programme, produced by Triacom Audiovisual for TV3, will be broadcast on Saturday mornings on channel Super3 starting January 2011.

The image has been orientated towards a young audience by using a series of codes referencing surfer and videogame aesthetics. Through the graphics, we have searched for an interaction between the image and the presenter, the studio set and the contestants during the various stages of the show.

The main leitmotif of the opening sequence are masses of bright, coloured paint that bump and circle around an imaginary space that recreates a universe filled with white, recycled objects. The design incorporates the opening sequence, bumpers and all the titling screens for each different test during the game show.
